Our tour of Ecuador (3 weeks in Jan-Feb 2025) has been extremely enjoyable.
The country offers so much diversity of landscapes and experiences. The Cloud Forest and Amazon jungle, the beautiful avenue of volcanoes, and certainly the Galapagos Islands will stay with us for a long time. We also enjoyed the cultural cities of Quito and Cuenca and archaeological sites. We slept in charming hotels, authentic colonial mansions and haciendas, lodges in the middle of nature and comfortable cabins during the cruise.
And we ate very well. The local cuisine is delicious and varied. The ceviches were my favorite!

Everywhere we felt especially welcome. The Ecuadorians welcome tourists with open arms. Never once did we feel unsafe. Explore Ecuador made a very good choice in suggesting activities. The mapped out itinerary was ideal accompanied by good local guides, both on our nature walks and visits to cities. Throughout the entire trip Tom kept in touch with us to make sure everything was going to plan.
We have nothing but praise for Explore Ecuador and its staff. Thanks for the well thought out trip planning and local guidance, Tom!
We will never forget this trip.
