Overview

Comfort close to nature

A visit to Kapawi is a unique experience. This lodge lies deep in the Amazon rainforest, close to the Peruvian border. You can only get here by small private plane, which lands on a dirt airstrip in the forest. The nearest village is 2 weeks away on foot. This is without a doubt one of the best places in Latin America to get to know the Amazon rainforest. The lodge is managed by the local Achuar community and was completely renovated in 2019. Although the lodge is built exclusively from local materials (not a single nail was used), you enjoy every luxury and comfort here. The lodge has 18 cabins, including 1 junior suite and 1 master suite.
Kapawi offers all-inclusive programmes of several days.
