Tour around the crater lake of Quilotoa

This well-known deep blue crater lake is located high in the mountains. It has a diameter of three kilometers and there are three lava peaks that reach up to 3,800 mt height. In clear weather we get a phenomenal view of the surrounding mountains. In the morning we are picked up by a car at the hotel. Together with the guide we start our walk around the lake. Along the way we enjoy the peace and the beautiful view that this walk offers us. After the hike we drive back to the hotel.
Difficulty: moderate. Bring along: protection against the sun and rain, sturdy walking shoes, water, warm sweater, walking sticks and a camera.
