Two and a half hours upstream from Coca is the Yachana Lodge on the banks of the Rio Napo. You can also reach the lodge from Tena by car to Los Rios and from there by canoe downstream. Yachana has won several international awards as the most ecological project and also supports various educational projects in the region. The lodge itself has about ten square kilometers of protected forest area and you can stay in one of the eight rooms, all of which have a private bathroom. There are all-in programs of 3, 4 and 5 days or longer.
