All ships on Galapagos sail fixed routes that are established by the National Park board and which are strictly controlled. This guarantees an orderly and peaceful visit to the islands. Sailing ships must also meet these standards and will therefore – when there is little wind – turn on the engines to get to the next destination in time. But as soon as possible, the sails on these ships can be set and then sailing without the sound of the engines is a unique experience. You can lend a hand to the crew and help set up the sails. There are some beautiful sailing boats in the Galapagos Islands.
