Itamandi is a beautiful eco-lodge on the Arajuno river. You get here from Quito after a four hour drive and a short canoe ride. The lodge is located in the Jatun Sacha reserve, which is a protected nature reserve. There are 13 standard rooms and 16 cabin rooms, all of which have a private bathroom with hot water, a rain shower and some of which have a private balcony with a hammock where you can rest after the activities. In addition, there is a beautifully decorated dining room, an outdoor bar and a swimming pool. The lodge offers packages of several days.
