Bicycle tour: the route of the waterfalls

An English-speaking guide accompanies you permanently by bicycle. On the way you see the Agoyan waterfall and the Manto de la Novia where you go by cable car. To conclude, you will visit the impressive waterfall Pailon del Diablo where you can take a nice hike. We return to Baños by car. We choose to eat a snack at the end point in Rio Verde or on return to Baños.
Cycling is not difficult because the road almost always descends.

Rafting on the Rio Pastaza (level 4 – advanced)

There we eat a traditional lunch prepared by the indigenous community and we get some explanation about the local lifestyle. We then take a nice walk through the jungle and learn about the plants and animals of the Amazon. The walk ends at a waterfall where we can stand under to refresh ourselves. Then we return by car to Baños.

What to bring: Sun and rain protection, light clothes, mosquito spray and water.

Canyoning in Cashaurco

The Tungurahua Volcano

As the Tungurahua volcano has seen several periods of renewed activity in recent years, the performance of this activity is subject to change. The guide will pick you up at the hotel in Baños in the morning and take you to the highest village that lies against the Tungurahua volcano. From there you can walk to the refuge in about two hours. We have lunch there and then return to the village. You then descend by mountain bike to Baños where we arrive at nightfall.
